Pia w Polsce (Ibrahim, śnieg i szaleństwa) - Pia in Poland (Ibrahim, snow, and craziness)

Our Little Bąbelek is now a big Łobuziak, who misses the Polish climate. In November, we managed to escape for a few days and visit our Homeland. Our favorite Pia's uncle - Ibrahim, who has never seen natural snow in his life, came to Poland with us. Of course, in Dubai, we not only have snowmen but even a real, snow-covered ski slope, but it's not the same as real natural white powder. Pia had already planned Ibrahim's baptism of fire for the first day, forcing not only Dad but especially Ibrahim to run and even make snow angels in the thick snow covering our backyard... because the most important part of the fun was done only in swimwear. When Ibrahim started experiencing hypothermia and even Robert began to feel cold, Pia remembered the trampoline standing in the garden... Instead of seeking shelter in the warmth of the house, she happily jumped on it for a few minutes in the crisp cold. Pia w czasie kwarantanny (Pia during quarantine)

The quarantine turned out to be a big challenge for all three of us. In early March, we were supposed to leave for several months to the Emirates, but u...

Mam 26 dni - pierwsza noc w hotelu (I am 26 days old - first night in hotel)

In early March, it was time for the XX Economic Forum, a great event that Robert co-organized. I had to (and really wanted to) attend the most important sessions and the gala dinner. When it came to the sessions, there was no problem - Pia slept a lot and didn't disturb the meetings, but how could we go to the gala dinner? There was no problem if we had help from grandmothers, sisters, or cousins, but when we were completely alone, it was definitely a bigger challenge. We didn't give up. Robert arranged a room from the organizers in the hotel where the conference was held, and I asked a familiar midwife to sit with Pia for a few hours. It worked for three hours. Later, the ruthless, little shark had to latch onto the breast (although to be honest, we also missed our little Grzdyk, and the fatigue accompanying the upbringing of a newborn also took its toll). The stress was great, but all in all, it was worth organizing everything for those three hours of "freedom"....
