Ras al Khaima - Szaleństwa Naszego Maleństwa (Ras al Khaima - Our Little One's Antics)

Kierunek Spitsbergen - Pia na lotnisku w Oslo (Destination Spitsbergen - Pia at Oslo Airport)

This time, the idea for the trip came from Robert. I must admit that I was very skeptical about the direction my dear spouse chose. In Poland, we have a beautiful summer, hot sun... a beach atmosphere, and suddenly we have to pack winter clothes and head to the northernmost human settlements. Brrrr... And on top of it all, the Norwegian astronomical prices and the option of staying in a place where the population of polar bears is definitely greater than that of humans. Will our little rascal have a place to run around? Will I find some tasty food for our little gourmet? What will our naptime walks be like? Many questions... No answers, and on online forums, there were clear remarks that this is not a place for trips with small children. Of course, as you can imagine, Pia was thrilled. Airplanes, airports, ships, an icy land. Wow!!! Super!!! Scandinavian climates have never appealed to us before. The only place that left a pleasant memory is Denmark, including Copenhagen, both the c...

Pia na Malcie - wrażenia vs wyobrażenia cz.1 (Pia in Malta - Impressions vs. Expectations Part 1)

Traditionally, everything started very innocently. Robert avidly follows the "super deals" of the travel market, so when I noticed a promotion by Wizz Air for flights from Gdańsk to Malta, I simply asked if he had seen the current offers from this carrier as well. I received a curt "no" as a response, but a few hours later, my Wonderful Husband returned to the conversation, informing me that indeed the offer was interesting, which is why he had bought us tickets at an incredibly low price. Robert studied in Malta a long, long time ago and often mentioned that it is an extraordinary, magical place that has been a crossroads of many cultures for centuries. Well, for me, the most important thing was that we would be able to bask in the rays of the Mediterranean sun with Pia. After painstakingly researching hotel offers, we managed to find a good promotion at the Westin Dragonara Resort. A few days later, I quickly packed my suitcase, Robert returned at 12:30 from his c...

Majówka 2014 - Wyspa Kos (May's long weekend 2014 - Kos Island)

After a few weeks since returning to Poland, we felt the urge to go somewhere again. Easter and the long May weekend were approaching, so we started looking for something interesting and cheaper than Polish tourist resorts, which tend to be particularly expensive during the holiday season. By chance, while passing by a travel agency, we noticed an attractively priced "deal of the day," unfortunately with a departure from Katowice. Coincidentally, a few days before the flight, Robert had a several-day meeting in Krakow, so as you can imagine, the plan to "escape from Torun" immediately emerged. A short trip to Krakow for a few days (where the inviting institution provided us with a free hotel), followed by 7 days in Greece at an unbelievably good price. Everything was going well, but on the day of departure to Krakow, Pia developed a high fever. Robert went alone, and we hoped that our little one would quickly recover. Luckily, that's what happened, and we didn...
