Pia in the wonderland - Uzbek experiences (Pia w krainie czarów - doświadczenia z Uzbekistanu)

Uzbekistan is a country that amazes, fascinates, and inspires. If you read my blog, you probably know that post-Soviet climates are far from my favorites. So, I was very skeptical about visiting Uzbekistan. Robert was thrilled, and Pia was neutral. I read a lot about the greasy and heavy Uzbek food, problems with making card payments, and some backwardness of this country. The reality turned out to be completely different. For eight days, we couldn't get enough of the delicious food, excellent meat, and aromatic vegetables. We traveled over 1000 kilometers, admiring the legacy left by the Timurid Empire. Pia had a fantastic time (especially when it rained). We ate our fill of excellent sauerkraut, pickles, and delicious apples. Uzbekistan is undoubtedly a wonderful, fairy-tale place.
