Przychodzi taki czas, gdy Słońce wydaje się zapominać o Polsce. Ciepłe promyki zastępuje chłodny wiatr na przemian z lodowatym deszczem. Poziom witaminy D gwałtownie spada a myśli coraz bardziej uciekają w kierunku letniej aury. W takich chwilach rodzą się szalone pomysły. Tym razem ich efektem był wyjazd na uroczy Mauritius. Głównym celem kolejnej ekspedycji było stworzenie naszemu Maleństwu możliwości rozwijania umiejętności pływackich. Ja natomiast nie mogłam doczekać się momentu kiedy po długiej przerwie poczuję adrenalinę przeskakując po grzbietach fal na nartach wodnych. Lot starym holenderskim Boeingiem 767 nie należał do szczególnie miłych. Perspektywa spędzenia ponad 12 godzin na zużytych siedzeniach ze śpiącym Maleństwem na kolanach była nieco deprymująca. Na szczęście dzielny Robert upolował dla siebie miejsce w rzędzie z większą przestrzenią na nogi dzięki czemu do naszej dyspozycji pozostawały trzy fotele. Pia po godzinie rozpychania skłoniła mnie do opuszczenia siedzeń i...

Unfortunately, work duties have taken us out of the travel and blogging cycle a bit, and on top of that, our Pia has become more and more demanding from week to week. At 9 months, she decided to start walking on her own, and by the end of the 10th month, she had already become proficient at independent movement... It's nice in a way, but it's a shame that it's forced - on her own. Everyone warned us that when she started walking, we would have a problem with our backs from constantly walking with the little one by the hand, but surprise, surprise - she does everything on her own, and constantly at that. Nevertheless, after 4 months in the country, it was time for a strong, birthday-themed getaway. There were a few occasions that had accumulated.
