Po powrocie z Turcji przyszedł czas na Grecję. Ceny dla wyjazdów w drugiej połowie września stały się racjonalne dlatego też postanowiliśmy odwiedzić kolebkę europejskiej cywilizacji. Traf padł na hotel Aqua Bay na wyspie Zakynthos. Do hotelu dotarliśmy późną nocą. Początkowo samolot nie dostał zgody na lot ze względu na tłok w porcie docelowym, gdy byliśmy już gotowi do odlotu jeden z pasażerów zasłabł. Procedury usunięcia bagażu trwały kolejną godzinę. Finalnie wylecieliśmy po 2 godzinach. Pomimo trudnego lotu, pierwsze wrażenia były bardzo przyjemne. Nowocześnie, przemyślanie zaprojektowane lobby. Ciekawa architektura poszczególnych budynków oraz trafnie wkomponowane baseny poprawiły zdecydowanie mój nastrój. Easter and the long May weekend were approaching, so we started looking for something interesting and cheaper than Polish tourist resorts, which tend to be particularly expensive during the holiday season. By chance, while passing by a travel agency, we noticed an attractively priced "deal of the day," unfortunately with a departure from Katowice. Coincidentally, a few days before the flight, Robert had a several-day meeting in Krakow, so as you can imagine, the plan to "escape from Torun" immediately emerged.
