Our Little Bąbelek is now a big Łobuziak, who misses the Polish climate. In November, we managed to escape for a few days and visit our Homeland. Our favorite Pia's uncle - Ibrahim, who has never seen natural snow in his life, came to Poland with us. Of course, in Dubai, we not only have snowmen but even a real, snow-covered ski slope, but it's not the same as real natural white powder. Pia had already planned Ibrahim's baptism of fire for the first day, forcing not only Dad but especially Ibrahim to run and even make snow angels in the thick snow covering our backyard... because the most important part of the fun was done only in swimwear. When Ibrahim started experiencing hypothermia and even Robert began to feel cold, Pia remembered the trampoline standing in the garden... Monte Bondone - pierwsze wrażania (Monte Bondone - first impression)

Traveling from Verona to Trento, it was hard to believe that there was still snow somewhere in the vicinity. Of course, you could see the snow-capped peaks from the road, but the white powder seemed inaccessible to lovers of "white madness." The assessment of the situation began to change dramatically as we covered more kilometers along the winding road leading to Monte Bondone. When we arrived at our hotel located in the village of Vason at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level, the thermometer no longer showed +13 degrees Celsius, but -10 degrees Celsius, and the entire settlement was covered with over a meter of snow. The air was freezing but at the same time impeccably clean. Ah, I love the mountains in winter, especially the early March period when I constantly suffer from some unbearable allergy in Poland! After a rather challenging journey, we finally reached the hotel, which once again pleasantly surprised us. Not that I saw everything through rose-colored glass...
