Zaparcie u niemowlaka - różnice kulturowe (Constipation in an infant - cultural differences)

After a stay in Cyprus, where Pia actively approached new people and occasionally had a chance to chat with some of them, I decided to share my reflection related to the physiology of infants. For some time, precisely since Pia turned 4.5 months, we started having problems with her bowel movements - instead of appearing in her diaper twice a day, she began to soil her diaper every 3 to 6 days, despite being exclusively breastfed. So, the first thing I did was to go to a store in the USA to purchase some fruit dessert for relaxation. I grabbed apple and plum puree, which later turned out to be partly wrong. But let me explain further. As soon as we returned to Poland, we went to the pediatrician and learned that we should give grated apple and give up Pia's favorite bananas and carrots. If the stool becomes so hard that the baby cannot defecate, or there is blood in the stool, then we should worry and consult a doctor, who will prescribe laxatives. So we followed the above recommend...

W hotelu z Niemowlakiem (Stay in hotel with infant)

The basis for today's reflection turned out to be an elevator. The hotel we stayed at is worth recommending - a peaceful place, good service, tasty food, a nice pool, and no drunk compatriots clumsily imitating YMCA stars with enthusiasm for cheap entertainment, which is fortunately not present here. It is a Cypriot 5-star hotel, a true 3-star hotel, but after one day of stay, it deserves a 4+ rating (I guess I had to rest exceptionally well after the trip:)). The only problem for us, accommodated with a large, stroller, turned out to be the elevator - supposedly a super convenience, and yet. There are two old tiny elevators in the hotel, and the property is quite large, so using them, even during dinner hours, is almost impossible (we can barely fit into the elevator with the three of us, let alone with additional passengers). So far, I haven't paid attention to this. We could always use the stairs or somehow squeeze into a crowded elevator, but the perspective of looking at ...

Sprawdzamy kolejne lotnisko pod względem przystosowania dla rodzin z małymi dziećmi- czyli Pia na Cyprze (We are checking another airport for its suitability for families with small children - meaning Pia in Cyprus).

The vacation is passing mercilessly, and due to exhaustion from the Torun climate, we decided to look for a place for an immediate few-day break, which, as it turned out, was not an easy task. Everything was booked in Sopot, and prices at our favorite Dylewskie Hills were like in Monte Carlo. So, not to break Pia's habit of flying, we decided to take advantage of a nearby vacation destination. Egypt was in turmoil, Turkey attacked us with gyros and kebabs from every corner (even the Doner Kebab moved into our health clinic), Tunisia and Morocco are not our climate, so we were left with Spain, our favorite Italy, Greece, and Cyprus. The evaluation of quality, price, and availability turned out to be most advantageous for Cyprus, and here we are after an hour in place ;) - Robert falls asleep with the little one on the last seats of the transfer bus, and I take advantage of the surprise that the travel agency that deals with reporting work has provided us. Oh... you wonder what this ...
