Our stay in Singapore was so frustrating that we joyfully embarked on a 5-day vacation to Malaysia. We chose the often-described island of Langkawi in this part of the world. After a short flight of just under two hours, we landed at a modern airport, from which a taxi, probably about 40 years old, took us to a hotel located on a high cliff surrounded by rainforest. First impression - oops... we've landed in a jungle hut. Fortunately, our apartment was located in a three-story building, which was entirely at our disposal. The whole place was decently furnished, tidy, and well-maintained. I can honestly recommend the Ambong Ambong Hotel. Of course, Pia was excited about staying in the jungle full of monkeys and giant lizards. However, our first joint enthusiasm for the charming little monkeys quickly faded when we realized that they were particularly intrusive, cheeky, and hostile animals that should simply be avoided. Air Asia - bardzo złe doświadczenia, uważajcie (Air Asia - very bad experience, be careful)

Travelling in the Far East is very cheap. Unfortunately, the quality of services is correlated with the price and any oversight by the client results in the need to bear additional, significant costs. When flying from Singapore to Langkawi, we packed a few small souvenirs, warm clothes that had previously flown with us as carry-on luggage, two bottles of water, some biscuits, and sweets in our checked baggage. The modern airport machine in Singapore accepted the first suitcase, then the second... We did not pay much attention to the weight until it turned out that we had 11 kg of excess baggage when the third suitcase was weighed. We reduced the weight of the last bag to the minimum (we couldn't take back the previous two bags) - nevertheless, it turned out that we exceeded the limit by 7.1 kg - or 8 kg according to Air Asia. We had to pay 64 PLN per kilogram, so over 500 PLN in total. More than the cost of purchasing tickets for our family of three. I know, I know it was our mista...
