Pierwszy lot Pii Hydroplanem (Pia - her first seaplane flight)

Terminal, gate’y, monitory z godzinami lotu i informacjami o boardingu. Pia widząc z odległości zaledwie kilku metrów samoloty była w „siódmym niebie”. W trakcie 90-minutowego oczekiwania, nasza Córeczka zwiedziła praktycznie każdy zakamarek lotniska, wykonała dziesiątki skoków i piruetów…. i gdy po wejściu do samolotu piloci włączyli strasznie głośne silniki i rozpoczęli procedurę kołowania do startu Pia zapadła w głęboki sen, który zakończył się dopiero po lądowaniu.

Our little one loves flying in airplanes, she has no problem with pressure changes and doesn't react to turbulence. However, we were quite concerned about how she would handle a seaplane flight.

Our experiences with this type of plane in Canada were unequivocally positive. However, we still remember the intense noise in the cabin and the somewhat abrupt landings. Unfortunately, we didn't have a choice. The alternative to the 45-minute flight from Male to Filtheyo was a two-day boat trip.

After arriving in Male, we easily found our way to the Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) transfer point. The friendly staff efficiently took care of our luggage, and we were invited to a small bus with a group of passengers to be transported to the seaplane terminal located on the same island as the international port.

The infrastructure of this world's largest seaplane port left a tremendous impression on us. Everything was organized just like at a traditional airport. Terminal, gates, monitors displaying flight times and boarding information. Pia, seeing the planes from just a few meters away, was in seventh heaven. During the 90-minute wait, our daughter explored practically every corner of the airport, performing dozens of jumps and pirouettes... And when the pilots started the engines, which were incredibly loud, and began the taxiing procedure for takeoff, Pia fell into a deep sleep that lasted until after landing.

Pia - codzienność w Dubaju (Pia - Everyday Life in Dubai)

Today I wanted to tell you a bit about our everyday life in Dubai. It's a city full of contrasts and unique experiences, where we have been living for several years. We usually start our day with physical activities. Dubai is known for its beautiful luxury beaches, which are a great place to relax and unwind, as well as sports clubs and excellent infrastructure. Pia loves spending time at the beach, playing in the water and building sandcastles. We often meet up with friends who also live in Dubai at the beach. After the beach, it's time for learning. Pia goes to an international school where she learns many different subjects in English. We also have the opportunity to meet children from different cultures and countries there, which is incredibly interesting and inspiring. After school, we often have time for various activities. Dubai offers many attractions for kids, such as amusement parks, water parks, and playgrounds. Pia loves spending time outdoors, playing with her peer...

Pia na Goa - słonie i plaża (Pia in Goa - beach and elephant)

The next day we arrived in Goa. Robert organized a decent bus, and we set off together on a long journey to the "elephant camp." It was nearly a two-hour journey, but it was definitely worth it. Pia approached the walk on the back of a friendly elephant with some reservation. It was quite a challenging experience for me because I had to hold onto the saddle with one hand and secure our little one with the other, who decided to get off the animal towards the end of the walk. However, the bath in the streams of water from the elephant trunk went much better. Pia was the first to change into her swimsuit and was immediately ready for a bath with "tratata" (elephant in Pia's language). The fun was fantastic. Pia enjoyed the bath together with Robert, Wiesia, and Kaja... and of course, she constantly wanted to be splashed with very cold water. After playing and taking photos with the elephants, we went to the most beautiful and cleanest beach in Goa. Indeed, it was a...
