New Year Celebration

In 2023, we celebrated the arrival of the New Year at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai with a large group of friends. The party was fantastic. On the first day of the New Year, we headed to Hatta to enjoy the attractions of this wonderful place. Unfortunately, my adventurous spirit led to a pretty serious wrist injury. Thankfully, the hospital confirmed that the painful injury was just a sprain, not a fracture. As always, the New Year started off interestingly!

W 2023 roku celebrowaliśmy nadejście Nowego Roku w hotelu Grand Hyatt w Dubaju w dużym gronie przyjaciół. Zabawa była fantastyczna. W pierwszy dzień Nowego Roku wybraliśmy się do Hatta, aby skorzystać z atrakcji tego wspaniałego miejsca. Niestety moje szaleństwa zakończyły się dość poważnym urazem nadgarstka. Na szczęście w szpitalu okazało się, że bolesna kontuzja to tylko skręcenie, a nie złamanie. Jak zwykle, Nowy Rok zaczął się interesująco!

Pia na Goa - słonie i plaża (Pia in Goa - beach and elephant)

The next day we arrived in Goa. Robert organized a decent bus, and we set off together on a long journey to the "elephant camp." It was nearly a two-hour journey, but it was definitely worth it. Pia approached the walk on the back of a friendly elephant with some reservation. It was quite a challenging experience for me because I had to hold onto the saddle with one hand and secure our little one with the other, who decided to get off the animal towards the end of the walk. However, the bath in the streams of water from the elephant trunk went much better. Pia was the first to change into her swimsuit and was immediately ready for a bath with "tratata" (elephant in Pia's language). The fun was fantastic. Pia enjoyed the bath together with Robert, Wiesia, and Kaja... and of course, she constantly wanted to be splashed with very cold water.
