Pia ponownie w Musandam (Pia again in Musandam)


It's quite unbelievable, but just 100 km from Dubai lies a stunning and relatively unexplored area of northern Oman - Musandam. Oman as a whole is a delightful country with friendly locals, breathtaking scenery, mountains, sea, and delicious cuisine. However, our absolute favourite destination in Oman is Musandam. Here, you can discover mesmerising fjords, charming little islands, and towering mountains that frame the turquoise sea. Pia, who is a lover of all creatures great and small, especially goats, absolutely must feed the local animals. In Musandam, there are several delightful playgrounds for children, and you can even take a boat trip to catch a glimpse of playful dolphin pods. If you're lucky, you might also spot some majestic sea turtles on the beach. We wholeheartedly recommend and encourage you to visit this captivating corner of Oman.

Trudno w to uwierzyć ale 100 km od Dubaju znajduje się przepiękna, jaszcze nie odkryta przez turystów, północna część Omanu - Musandam. Oman jest generalnie cudowny. Bardzo mili ludzie, cudowne widoki, góry, morze i doskonałe jedzenie. Naszą ulubioną destynacją w Omanie jest jednak Musandam. Zabaczyć tam można cudowne fiordy, małe wysepki, wysokie góry graniczące z turkusowym morzem. Pia, która uwielbia wszelkie zwierzątka a w szczególności kozy musi obowiązkowo dokarmić lokalne zwierzęta. W Musandam znajdziecie kilka ładnych parków zabaw dla dzieci, możecie wybrać się na wycieczkę łodzią i podziwiać stada delfinów. Czasami na plaży można spotkać duże, morskie żółwie. Polecam i zachęcamy do odwiedzenia.

Po hucznej zabawie należy wypocząć. Tak też zrobiliśmy i pospaliśmy do południa. Na śniadanie zjedliśmy smakowity lunch, a o 16 wypłynęliśmy z Dubaju kierując się w stronę Zatoki Omańskiej i Morza Arabskiego. Pogoda nas rozpieszczała - było ciepło i słonecznie, ale dzięki dość silnym podmuchom wiatru absolutnie nie doskwierał upał. Robert szalał z Pią w dużym basenie ze świeżą, słoną wodą, która była na tyle rześka, że zdecydowana większość pasażerów nawet nie decydowała się zamoczyć stóp. Niemcy okupowali masowo sauny i jacuzzi, a my mieliśmy do własnej dyspozycji to co najlepsze.  Generalnie funkcjonowanie w kulturze niemieckiej jest umiarkowanie przyjemne, ale tworzy wiele ciekawych możliwości. W przeciwieństwie do chociażby Amerykanów nie ma tu specjalnych preferencji dla rodzin z dziećmi. Często można odczuć dezaprobatę i skutecznie kamuflowaną niechęć do maluszków. Pia w Bombaju (Pia in Mumbai)

A few years ago, we spent a lot of time in Nepal, so we had a kind of preview of what could await us in Mumbai. Robert was generally terrified, and I intuitively felt that Mumbai would be slightly less "exotic" than Kathmandu. With the help of Mr. Tomasz, Robert's PhD student, we managed to rent a very comfortable twelve-seater bus and immediately set out to explore the charms of this extraordinary city.
