Pia na Sycylii (Pia in Sicily)

Our next trip had a typical vacation feel to it. We bought a 7-day last-minute stay at the Mediterranean Sea, and less than 10 days later we arrived at the hotel located near the city of Licata. The facility had a typical local character, which translated into a subjective dimension of a four-star standard. Although the rooms didn't impress us, the hotel was very well-maintained and characterized by exceptional cleanliness. Most of the guests were Italians, so the food was probably tailored to their preferences. From our point of view, it deserved the highest rating. It was simply excellent - lots of fresh fish, seafood, local cheeses, and cold cuts. Our little one was thrilled. Delicious food, warm water, water slides... and lots of kids - the perfect combination for our daughter. Pia quickly became friends with Zosia, who was a year younger but had a very strong character.
